Meet the Chef

Ryan Fitzpatrick

My passion for cooking began at a young age, where you would always find me in the kitchen. I was always intrigued by what you could do with the simplest ingredients. 

 

Working in local restaurants,  was a great foundation as a young chef. From there, I moved to NYC after college to work with some established catering companies, such as Abigail Kirsch and Pinch Food Design on high profile events. During my time in NYC I also gained experience at a Michelin star restaurant,  A Voce.

 

Once I returned to Ireland I honed my skills and knowledge working in various 5* resorts, such as - Ashford Castle, The Europe Hotel & Resort, The Dunloe Hotel and Gardens and most recently, Adare Manor. During the off season winter months, I had the pleasure to travel to France and Japan, working as a private chef in ski chalets, entertaining and cooking for house guests. It is from these experiences that my passion and interest for private dining began.

Manager & Owner

Aoife McMullan

From the minute I started my first job in a local restaurant at home in Cork, Bunnyconnellan, I was hooked. I love the joy hospitality can bring to people, either celebrating a special occasion, or simply watching friends meet to catch up over coffee. I knew I couldn't see myself doing anything else.

 

I worked in Bunny's for 5 years,  before going on to master my skill and profession in college. I studied Business with Event Management for a year going on to graduating with an Honours degree in Business with Hospitality Management.

I have been lucky and honoured to have trained and worked in some of Ireland's finest 5* luxury hotels and resorts, such as The Europe Hotel & Resort, The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens, and Adare Manor. 

I got the opputurnity to work as Operations Manager in The Royalton, Manhattan, NYC for a short period before having to return to Ireland due to Covid-19.

This is when myself and Ryan decided to set up Wild Catering and start a new work venture.
